Mika Brzezinski calls out a right winger in her one hour anchor slot on MSNBC
Edited on Fri Sep-14-07 09:46 AM by Husb2Sparkly
Just now .... not to be repeated, I'm sure ......

Some campaign operative for Booty Rudy called out Hillary Clinton on her making comments about General Dave. Brzezinski climbed down his throat with questions like: "Isn't she doing her JOB by asking questions?" "Doesn't YOUR candidate have questions and if so, what are they?" She never lost her cool, while the guy (Jim SomethingorOther, a redheaded guy) was literally bouncing around in his seat and doing the RightWingBreathlessNonStopSpeech thing.

At the end, Mika said it was nice to meet the guy and would he please come to the studio someday and do a longer interview. Sher never smiled.

You GO girl!!!!!

On edit .... the guy from the Ghouliani campaign was Jim Dyke (Dike?)

Mika is now discussing the guy with Chuck Todd. She's on this like a pit bull. She's also saying directly that, by not answering Warner's "are we safer" question, General Dave essentially said 'No'. He didn't duck the question, she avers, but instead said NO.

4. Mika's great. I remember liking her back when she and two other female
anchors were on during the afternoon on MSNBC. That was before she went to CBS.

6. I think Joe was given a memo ........
Ixnay the Ightray Ingway Ingthay.

He does a lot more harmless stuff and as little hard right stuff as anyone who knows him could imagine.

My own theory (MIC membership of the parent company notwithstanding) is that MSNBC (and NBC) really is charged with making a profit and has seen that being FauxNewz-like is NOT the way to do that.

7. I wonder if they haven't turned some people loose, too...
Everyone knows about Olbermann. Chris Matthews has been especially scathing to right-wingers lately. And now Mika...

I wonder if MSNBC hasn't just turned them loose, in an effort to see if it boosts MSNBC's overall ratings the way Olbermann has done for his show?

9. Okay ... this now seems to be the MSNBC-directed position
Contessa Brewer is asking this Jim guy the same question and he's giving the same answers.

He looks increasingly foolish as he does. The anchors are being steadfast in their view that HRC (and even Moveon) has NOTHING to apologize for.
