Kent Hovind (creationist felon) is exploiting DMCA to silence critics on Youtube.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kent_Hovind

This is Kent Hovind. He is a guy who made a living saying the universe is 6000 years old, which is strange, considering we can see galaxies millions of light years away. He went to prison for tax fraud, but his organization, Creation Science Evangelism, still stands. He has claimed that his videos are in free domain, but Creation Science Evangelism has started sending in DMCA complaints into youtube to silence his critics. So far he has gotten critics "rabidape" http://uk.youtube.com/profile?user=rabidape and "rational response" http://uk.youtube.com/user/RationalResponse banned from youtube. Rational Response is an anti creationist organization and they have posted a rebuttal on their website claiming they will sue Creation Science Evangelism if they don't stop sending in phoney DMCA complaints . Rational Response also claims their videos are in "fair use." They have also posted a video on their website with Kent Hovind himself saying his videos are not copyrighted and you are free to distribute them. http://www.rationalresponders.com /

So what do you people think about this? It appears that creationists are taking the tactics of Scientology. They are exploiting DMCA copyright laws to silence their critics.

1. Creationists, Scientologists... same difference
Irrational adherence to ridiculous ideas with the intent of self-aggrandizement, coupled with a rabid, extremist reaction against anyone with enough intelligence to question their doctrines.

2. This is something new though.
This is the first I heard of Creationists using copyright laws to try to censor people.
