Elizabeth de la Vega talks about her book, "United States v. George W. Bush et al.," at an event hosted by Common Good Books in St. Paul, Minnesota. In the book, Ms. De la Vega presents a fictional indictment of President Bush and members of his cabinet for the way they sold the invasion of Iraq to the American public. She charges them with "conspiracy to defraud the United States." Garrison Keillor, who owns Common Good Books, makes opening remarks.

Elizabeth de la Vega is a former federal prosecutor and was an Assistant U.S. Attorney in Minneapolis. She was also a member of the Organized Crime Strike Force and Branch Chief in San Jose, California. The author has been a regular contributor to TomDispatch.com since her retirement in 2004.

Elizabeth does present a compelling case.
She basically used the same concept that the 9/11 time-line book did for the attacks on America.

All this information is out there, all you have to do is go gather it up and piece it together.
Something that Oh, I don't know - The New York Times and The Washington Post used to do for a living.

If the Democratic (and Republican) parties had any balls we would be dragging Bush and his pals out of the White House in handcuffs by the 4th of July.

But, I guess that ain't going to happen and probably worse yet - he's going to do the same thing with Iran.

Impeachment is important: they have to be made accountable.

. . . Nixon left office around two years after Watergate, but he still had two years to serve.

That means that if congress started tomorrow, it could shorten the Bush presidency by a few months, but then, there is that Chaney problem.
