American worker is screwed again
I heard an interesting figure on CNN this morning. I then found it at google. ---

The average U.S. worker produces $63,885 of wealth per year..

http://ap.google.com/article/ALeqM5gURr_MR-Wtuq2-T70HLknZGGD6Ng

The average American worker receives about $29,000 a year for his labors. That makes one wonder just who gets the other $34,885 of wealth that the American created.

Then another story caught mey eye ---

Top hedge fund and private managers make more in 10 minutes than the average U.S. worker earns in an entire year...

...That means these managers get about $35,100 every 10 minutes (or $3,510 a minute), compared with the average worker in the U.S. whose annual salary is $29,500..

Wow ! It seems that the American worker is caught in a squeeze not only by his natural enemy -- Corporate America -- but also the criminal class who operate funds that pretend to benefit him.

1. Corporatization+Globalization =Demoralization (of the workers)
There was a time when people actually KNEW their bosses.. The bosses drove better cars, had bigger houses, but they were still one's neighbors, and the kids all went to the same schools (mostly).. the boss may have made 5 or 6 times the lowest paid worker, but one had the feeling that they were part of the company..

No more..

Workers are now just like any piece of equipment.. thoroughly replaceable, and poorly maintained

2. Back then the businesses felt they belonged to the community ...
Nowadays they feel that the community belongs to them.
