The "Broken-Hearted Freepers Saga" continues-Re: Ted Nugent
Edited on Thu Aug-30-07 12:34 AM by Adenoid_Hynkel
When last we left off with "Freepers near tears over Roeper's piece destroying Nugent,"
http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=show_mesg&forum=389&topic_id=1687418&mesg_id=1687418
http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/1887384/posts

Freeperville was in a state of panic, rushing to defend their idol and his toy collection.

Well, It turns out we were all wrong. Ted didn't dodge the draft, as he admitted to ten years back.
You see, now he says he didn't. That's proof. Us lib'ruls have smeared him just like we smeared our brave pres'dent.
Freepers near tears over Roeper's piece destroying Nugent
The hilarity continues here in istallment 2, titled "Ted Nugent DID NOT 'wet his pants' to avoid the draft.":
http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-chat/1887742/posts

"Ted Nugent gave an interview this morning on a local station and specifically stated that he "registered for the draft" and that they simply "didn't call my number."

He hammered the 'journalists' who reported that he had reported to the draft board caked in his own waste.

I listened to him say these quotes in response to direct questions."
---
Whew!
That's a relief!

Don't you see? He hammered those journalists! I heard it on some show or something!

8. Sean Hannity's another idiot. Idiots standing up for idiots.
It's like a carnival sideshow for the 21st Century.

2. ...and why wouldn't they believe him? They are so thick and deluded
that they believe arbusto® is other that a barely functional moran that just happened to be squeezed out of the right vagina.

I guess they look in the mirror and see that they don't even measure up to his non-existent stature and so feel they must follow...

6. this still raises three very important questions
how do we know he is telling the truth?

Why is this ok, even though Clinton gets called a draft dodger for that same reason (his number was never called)?

and, finally:

Why the fuck did he even wait to be drafted? Why didn't he sign right up and go fight in the war he supported without having to be forced to?

7. A lot of Freeper Vietnam Vets aren't buying it
The "I believe anything that supports a wingnut hero" are being pretty roundly shot down by Freepers who actually had to submit to draft boards back in the 60's. Of course, they are quick to point out how fabulous the Vietnam was was and how great the current war is.

9. From the same bunch that said Dubya was flying secret spy missions over Vietnam
and that is why there are all the missing records of him attending TANG drills. He was risking his life doing super-secret recon missions for the CIA, but the liberal-communist Democrats cut funding for the project because they wanted the Communists to win and then invade and conquer the USA.

11. Whatever gets them through the day.
In their eyes/priorities, I'm sure it's very important to reform Ted's autobiography to fit their Republican ideal. All I know is he was a dickhead and sucked musically in the 70s and he's gotten no better with time.
