What are you doing tomorrow night?

Hello GV,

I just wanted to drop you a quick note to remind you of two events:

First, tomorrow is the date for Americans Against Escalation in Iraq's Town Halls and MoveOn.org's End It in September Vigils. Those organizations are working hard to make these events as large and important as humanly possible, so if you can attend an event in your area, please do. The Republicans in the Senate have stood in the way of getting a new direction in Iraq policy long enough. Show them that we won't stand for it anymore.

Click here to find the event in your area.

Second, today is the last day to vote in the Roadblock Republicans Radio Contest. We've had many thousands of votes, and the voting has been extremely close. Only a few hundred votes separate the top 4 candidates, so vote for the ad you think is the best. Voting closes tonight at midnight.

You'll receive an email after the votes have been tabulated to let you know which script will be aired in the Roadblock Republican states.

We're going to have a busy month in September. I'll keep you up to date as everything unfolds.

Thank you,
John Kerry

3. Attending a rally in my small town, probably be a few of us, but we'll be there.

This is a repuke stronghold, but it's very slowly changing. I don't normally leave the house other than to go to the doctor, but I won't miss this. Even after dark, God forbid!

Hope every DUer who can squeeze the time will show up to the one closest to them.

6. We had around seventy plus people here in Mira Mesa (San Diego) last night...

For the most part it went pretty well, with a lot of honkers, etc. as they were passing by.

At the end though, when a few of us were gathered next to the restaurant that was near where we had just been gathered on the sidewalk, a right wing jerk made some smart assed remark yelling that all of us were "friends of Al Queda" as he walked into the restaurant and giving us a thumbs down as he walked in. Even though we'd planned earlier to go in there to join a few others eating there, we decided to go to another restaurant at that point for dinner.

It's amazing to see that core 25% of idiots still living in their Limbaugh driven world of fantasy!
