that KO would be on opposite 60minutes in a prime time spot just a few years ago. No way would GE/NBC be giving him this chance if the winds weren't a changin', they sure aren't doing it because it is right but because they feel that ratings will rise.

More than half the show was comedy crap. He had a great chance, a national platform and what did he do with it? Comedy bits and stupid sports stuff. Very disappointing.

"You're watching Countdown on NBC." I suspect he would have a lot more viewers on NBC (even with mediocre ratings) than on li'l ol' MSNBC!

KO was obviously bending over for the boys upstairs.

1) Warner piece was barely better than MSM coverage
2) Hillary piece was a hit job
3) Lots of "inside politics" horse race crap
4) Mostly lame "comedy" bits
5) Went to Oddball at :18 instead of usual :29

I think all the people who tuned in instead of watching 60 minutes will not give him a second look.

Normally the first half hour on MSNBC is some of the best on television. I admit that I turn it off at 8:30 when he goes into his celebrity/comedy mode. Maybe some people like that crap but I really don't think that's the part responsible for his ratings surge on cable.
