Questions about the DU stickies

Is it appropriate to capture and use them?

Will they be available after the fund drive?

Can I just use them right from DU?

3. how do you make a screen shot?

6. One way to do it is to hit your Print Screen button, then

open up a program like Paint or a photo program, hit Ctrl-V and paste the screen shot, then crop the part you want & then save it.

(Not sure if there is an easier way, but this is the way I've always done it)

21. You should have a button on your keyboard. Mine is marked PrtSc

and it's on the top row of key on my laptop. After I hit PrtSc, I open Photoshop and then do a Ctrl+V to import the screenshot and resize, etc. :hi:

25. For the stickies that are actual "images", just drag them to your desktop.

For at least Firefox and Safari, you can always easily save
images just be "dragging" them to your desktop (or a folder).
The stickies that are actual images can be saved in this way.

For the stickies that are text, just drag across the text,
copy the text, and paste it into some editor (Word, Wordpad,
Notepad, whatever).

26. The images are being protected by a simple anti-theft device...

29. Oh, isn't that cute!

Oh, isn't that cute -- a transparent GIF overlaying
each image so that drag-and-drop gets the transparent
image and not the underlying sticky.

A well, a "View Page Source" will get you the URL of
the underlying image and then it works just as I described.

4. I saw one of mine

from the last drive up there. I made it out of a pic of my now deceased dog wearing reindeer ears. It was kind of weird seeing it. So it must be possible to do it.
