US military spokesman calls it "genocide" against the little-known (to Americans) Yazidi.

The complete death toll from this entire fiasco will be unimaginable.

So the genocide that the US is allegedly preventing simply shifts to a different target.

Why, again, are we still there?

1. And what does the US military call the
death of one million Iraqis? What does their occupation of Iraq have to do with these mind blowing numbers?

4. They call that
"Collateral Damage"

And it's all the fault of the terrorists.

3. It is despicable that the original number cited by the US sources was only 40
while the original number cited by local police forces were 175.

Peace

5. I am having trouble with this one. Wasn't things getting better?
Oh I knew that is a joke but how they keep this 'better' business up is making me shocked. What a mess Bush is going to leave for the next guy.

7. I have no idea why is this is being blamed on al qaeda.
War is a damned good cover for getting rid of people you never liked anyway. ONLY Yazhidi villages? Why should that bother anyone in the US? This ain't "al qaeda." It's a Sunni grudge. Did the Turks pay for it?
