Why are there national demonstrations planned for the same city in the same month endorsed by...

same people? I've seen a couple of posts about the ANSWER March from the White House to Capitol on September 15, but a group called the Troops Out Now Coalition is also planning on...marching from the White House to the Capitol on September 29. Now I know there's a lot of factionalism in the antiwar movement and a lot of people have ideological differences with ANSWER or what not, but both demonstrations seem to be endorsed by (some of) the same people:Ramsey Clark, Rep. Cynthia McKinney, Medea Benjamin, the World Can't Wait, etc. To make matters worse they're really aren't any ideological differences between the two groups, because both were originally started by the International Action Center. Like I said earlier, I know national demonstrations have organized in short periods of time by different groups, but considering who's endorsing and what not this just seems like a new level of bizarreness. I'm assuming though since its happening and both groups are organizing buses and flyering and what not that this must make sense to some one and then maybe it's just me who's bizarre. So can anyone at DU explain this to me?

2. I can tell you I won't be marching with ANSWER ever again.

And I'm not alone. Maybe that's the reason. I know there have been some skirmishes over permits in the past, too.

ANSWER types), but the same group that founded ANSWER, The International Action Center, also founded the Troops Out Now Coalition!
