Watching a featherweight like Mathews always makes me wonder why Moyers doesn't have MSM presence
Bill Moyers is the only heir apparent to Walter Cronkite on the American media scene. Why didn't CBS hire him instead of Katie Couric? Why doesn't he have a mainstream show like Tweety, but his would actually have some insight and some real reporting?

I want Bill Moyers on a regular basis ands I want it now!!

1. Welcome to my brain
I often wonder why lightweights who schmooze the boss always seem to keep the paychecks coming in and people who genuinely know more than their ass from their fingers, are left to toil on the fringes. It sure is a frustrating quandary.

4. NBC would rather have Matthews than Moyers because it's owned by General Electric
Moyers would actually come out and criticize the military-industrial complex for distorting budgetary priorities in favor of warfare and away from social programs that invest in people, infrastructure, and the future. Warfare ends life and ends futures, but that's where the profits are made. The Cold War is over. There is nothing left that could justify a military budget beyond 500 billion when the next biggest spender comes in under 75 billion.

6. the right spreading the "liberal media" meme for years worked. No "news" program dares hire a
"liberal".

It's why Dan Rather was run off. He made the mistake of going to a dem fundraiser.

There is a HUGE part of me that thinks we should keep unfavorable media types from access to WH if we are lucky enough to win next time.

7. Why would he? They're afraid of him.
Just like when they freaked when Jon Stewart berated Carlson and called him a dick on Crossfire.

Nah, there is no way the MSM can handle a truthteller like Moyers.

10. It is obvious why the US Corp Media shuns Moyers & other
non-RWing journalists. It's so obvious that I don't even need to say why they do so.

What we need are CARNIVAL BARKERS!!1 The wingnuts found theirs in RAYGUN, and slightly less in Shrub. All we got are intelligent, noble, selfless people. Who's going to get off their asses and VOTE FOR THAT?!1

Look at the 2nd row here. Every danged one of them was smarter and stuff than the FOOL who "defeated" them. What we need is TOM BERGERON!!1 A street performer, a MIME!!1 Somebody who can CONNTECT!!1 for gudness sake!!1
