could use a good break now...

politics aside this has been one shitty year

- laid off in March
- totaled my car a week later
- brakes went on my partner's truck a week after that
(did get a new job, new car, and fixed the brakes)

- two weeks ago I smooshed my new car on a telephone pole to avoid a head-on collision
- last week my partner finds out her workplace is closing due to retirement of one of the law partners
- yesterday we had to put our 11 yr old airedale to sleep (kidney's went)
- then this morning I get one of those "We are concerned about your work" talks - yeah I expressed my concerns too and asked for more help/direction/info/clarification and got the runaround
