Poll question: And now for something totally different
Edited on Sun Aug-05-07 08:19 PM by Solly Mack
Will Democrats win the White House in 2008?

Not..my candidate will
Not.. only so and so can

BUT

Will there be a Democrat in the White House in 2009?

Gut feeling. Intuition. Wild guess. Reasoned guess. Wishful. Hopeful.

Edit to add kitten

1. Yes.
It's going to be a heck of a fight, but the democrats will take the White House, and increase their control of the House and Senate.

9. I agree, yes but no cakewalk
Seeing the republican field this morning I thought no way any of these nutjobs have a chance. But then I realized I thought the same thing in 2000. Never overestimate the intelligence of the electorate.

4. Forget the kitten...I want the rabbit with the pancakes on its head.
By the way, yes, we will win, and also retain the house and senate. And DU will still be a fiery, controversial, wonderful, frustrating, vital place to be.

19. and what a relief, eh?
:P

We all need a 'thought vacation' once in awhile! ;)

I think we will take the WH but we need to really
continue working on the house and senate cleanings!
Just as we did in the last election. Our work is not done!

But, then I have the, what? Benefit? Pain? Of living in a red/purple state. I can see that our top three won't flip any state such as mine - and may even lose a couple of blue teetering states.

P.S. I'm a dog person, myself. The kitten's cute, but, imho, not as cute as this:
