Windstream broadband problems. Grrrrrr

A few weeks ago there was an outage of our broadband. It lasted one day. Since then my DSL has been dropping. I can sometimes get online but for maybe 30 seconds at a time. I get messages saying things like other side is not responding, or it can't find the PPoE server.

I've called them every day hoping for a cure, but they put me through the same steps. A service person showed up and we thought it was fixed, but now it is worse than before. A service person was supposed to be by today, but was a no show.

I am losing patience with them. Have you experienced problems with Windstream?


I had the wiring checked before DSL was run. I tried different computers, different wall plugs, different wires. I am just about ready to try a different broadband, possibly cable.


Their bills come on time.
