LOL, I actually like Buchanan's suggestion
Earlier on MSNBC he discussed the debate in a small beach town in NH - do not remember the name - about whether to put signs in Spanish prohibiting consumption of alcohol. Visitors arrested claimed they did not know about that prohibition; could not read the signs in English.

Buchanan's suggestion was to put an international-style sign showing a bottle of liquor and a diagonal slash going through it.

1. Agreed
There are many places in the US where there are foreign tourists. International signage makes our country more "user friendly" for them. Besides, think of all the freeper kids who are illiterate-it would help them as well.

3. Not the beach; Merrimack, a hotbed of freepers.
Edited on Wed Aug-01-07 02:01 PM by Tesha
It wasn't a beach town, it's Merrimack. Merrimack,
which elected a fundie school board a few years
ago and had to go through the pain of throwing
them all back out again. Merrimack, that never
a tax it thought was worthwhile, and routinely
turns down funding for its schools, public
libraries, and the like. Merrimack, whose
town manager quit a few years ago over the
hassle of it all.

Merrimack is a hotbed of freepers and Libertarians.
