LMAO!! Vitter lectures Republicans on how to improve the party's image!!
Oh, how we would have liked to have been a fly on the wall when Sen. David Vitter (R-La.) rose to speak during a Tuesday policy lunch.

Only seven days earlier, he had delivered a heartfelt apology at the same weekly meeting. Fellow Republicans responded with thunderous applause, and most refused to tell reporters how Vitter had addressed his forced public admission that he had committed a “serious sin” and was linked to an alleged prostitution ring.

So just imagine their confusion when Vitter scrambled to his feet a week later. Would he apologize again? Had he committed some new sin? But no. Instead, he launched into a speech about his thoughts on “rebranding” the party by reclaiming the fiscal conservative mantle.

Yes, that’s right: Vitter, on improving the Republican image. This time, his colleagues held the applause.

3. Fiscal conservative branding? Good luck.
So now that they've proven themselves to be sexually perverted hypocrites, they're going to reclaim fiscal conservatism? With trillions of dollars gone missing in the middle east? Good luck with that approach, guys.

4. Vitter Rebranding the Party reminds me of the GOP's attempt to
.......revirginize their young.

Remember when the whole "Revirginize" movement took over the 'christian' GOP movement?

Not unlike their abstinence program.

Neither work.

They never talk about actually doing anything real to cure their corrupt cronism, sexual deviancy, and general incompetence and moral incontinence.

17. They're More Like Lemmings Every Day
Denial ain't a river...it's the 2008 platform of the Repugnican party

These goons are becoming so co-dependent on one another they have lost all concept of up and down. They're so twisted in their lies and hypocrisies, they see "sense" in the irrational and justify the impossible. This political bloodsport has now turned into a game of survival and their impressions of "standing tough" or "circling the wagons" now appear as circle jerks.

If the GOOP shuns Vitter, it opens up the question of should this scumbag either resign or face criminal charges...or even an ethic investigation. This could jeopardize a very important Senate vote in a Repugnican coalition that is under tremendous pressure to crack. If he quits, Blanco nominates a Democrat. Thus it's the power that trumps all here.

They'll all go off the cliff together and feel "proud" they stood for something.

27. Funny how they always go all "fiscal conservative" when the bills come due...
Twelve years of the worst overspending in our nations' history will now be fixed by becoming "fiscally conservative." Yeah, right.

Translation....fiscal conservative means blame Democrats for wanting to raise taxes to pay the bill they ran up.
