I haven't seen one in the longest time.

Of course I'm in LA but I used to see a number of them. That was some years back.

Now I don't see any.

But then really old people kind of dominate my area, so those are just the odds, I guess.

2. Rarely
but then I live close to Springfield MO, home of "Let the Eagle Soar" Ashcroft. I find it odd, frankly, that I don't see more in this red part of the country. On the other hand, just last week I saw two cars that had stickers on them saying "Save our Country-Vote Democratic". They appeared to be new.

3. I see a handful when I'm in Boulder every now and then.
There are even more still in Longmont. I really need to get some more stickers on my car. All I've got is my Broncos, Avalanche, and Free Tibet stickers right now. The DU sticker (which I just got the other day!!!) will be going up as soon as I'm willing to wash my filthy car.

29. W - The Worst
I live in North Texas, too. Haven't seen the Cheney sticker yet, thank Jeebus.

There is a Jaguar that parks in my neighborhood and I always sneered at it because it has the classic black square "W" sticker on it. Then one day, I was walking closer to it and noticed that instead of "The President" written in small letters under the "W", it said, "The Worst." Made my day.

Edited on Sun Jul-22-07 07:41 PM by Maddy McCall
I see one maybe once a week. And it's usually on some high school student's four-wheel drive.

I don't see them nearly as often as I used to. Don't see the yellow ribbons, either.

I'm starting to see more "Support Our Troops, Bring Them Home" and "Veteran Against the Iraq War" stickers.

W is a sore topic down here, since Katrina.

Edited to add: I travel through south Louisiana and recently went on vacation through Alabama, Georgia, Tennessee, and North Carolina. I didn't see any W stickers at all while we were on vacation, and I never see them in south Louisiana, either.

county and I still see a lot of W04 bumper stickers. May be left overs, I don't know. I am seeing more and more stickers that say Coexist and WTF (using the same logo used for W04).

What I'm not seeing that I did see in the months after 9/11 as well as after the invasion of Iraq are American flags being flown from plastic polls attached to the car windows.

I did see a Giuliani 2008 bumper sticker in West County the other day.

My first "serious" boyfriend from my teenage years now lives in Irving.

I was in Irving in December--went to adopt a pair of sugar gliders from the humane society there. The folks at the shelter were friendly liberals and really liked my "Somewhere in Texas, a village is missing it's idiot" bumper sticker. But they were the only Irving residents I encountered.

38. Oh yeah
Being the token liberal and token Jew has its advantages. For starters, freaking people out is usually pretty easy: just put a rock album in the CD player. Merely expressing support for Democrats is a great way to illicit looks of shock, if not awe, and telling someone I don't celebrate Christmas really blows their minds.

Sarcasm aside, things are actually getting better. Our county has elected a record high of three Democrats to state government (out of fifteen) and the pervasive nature of the fundamentalists seems to be weakening, although that may just be in the wake of Haggard's fall from grace. We'll see. 'Till then, this is RMD, signing off from Dobsonland.

It was the commutation of scooty-poots sentence that pissed them off just as much. They think he is a traitor. Never thought I'd hear that in Texas!

Mainly in the affluent part of town, where people are generally untouched by stark reality.

but I am in 50/50 town and alot of conservatives here. Religious town too. Usually the car is also filled with all kinds of yellow ribbons for the soldiers too. My bumper sticker is the one from moveon about ending the war.

I've got one that matches the W'04 window decal, until you look close: W(rong)

75. Thanks JP*
If I do see cars with W stickers, or the ones that I have seen have been guys in their twenties/thirties with shaved heads driving either SUV's or big loud pickups.

81. I still see a few, but this is a red state.
On the other hand, I was somewhat surprised to see very few near the military bases on the coast this past spring. I saw lots and lots of the usual Marines and Navy and NRA stickers. Bush was conspicuous by his absence.

82. If you drive a little east, you will see them.
Here in the far reaches of the "Inland Empire" I still see them occasionally. But not nearly as many as there used to be. What I also notice is a whole lot more union stickers, Democratic stickers, peace stickers and anti-war stickers. And just yesterday I thought I saw a W sticker but on closer inspection it said, WTF?! :D

83. I used to see lots of them
then, about 2005, it began to reduce to only a few

now, if I see one, I have to do a double take. I've seen three or four this whole Summer.

88. Reporting from SW Virginia
What was once a bastion of W stickers, I now very rarely see one. Some freepers down the road had one on their SUV and even they were too embarrassed to continue sporting it. :D

89. West Tennessee - you betch'a....
BUT, not nearly as many, thankfully. In fact, many people I personally know used to have a Bush bumper sticker and they've been gone for quite a while. But, on a typical drive to Memphis (an hour drive one way), we usually see three or four now whereas it used to be a dozen or so.

A far more common is the Flag "freedom isn't free" window decal.

I'll spot one every once in awhile, and it's almost always on one of those Micro-Penis trucks. You know- the ones that are raised so high you need a step ladder to get in?

I'm in Los Angeles.
