ideas they want to be true, over and over again. That makes them stick in the collective mind and become as good as true.

Some people would put more time, care, and concern into buying a car or a washing machine than they would put into demanding quality and service from politicians, regardless of the party.

As was said, critique is not bashing. We have very serious, immediate issues that need to be addressed. Are they being addressed in a timely and appropriate manner? This is not a party issue, nor is it supposed to be cult of personality and identification. Treat your politics as seriously as you would when buying any major item, (house, car, etc.) and demand the same kind of quality and attention in the process.

We pay these "representatives" well! Well, so do the corporations. In fact, they pay them a LOT more than we do.
