("Pander-bear" is a Tweety coinage.)
So Shrub rubberstamp CORNYN, supposedly a "senator" from Texas, feels the need to enlist KKKarl into his campaign (this early?). Could it be that the Dems just MIGHT have some credible opponents revving up---finally? One WATTS, who CORNYN is focusing on as a TRIAL LAWYER. But the other, Rick NORIEGA, a distinguised VETERAN via Afghanistan, just might be the Dem knight in shining armor.
So what is CORNYN doing here in this link? Why, doing the veterans' baiting thing in a heavily Hispanic/Dem area, South Texas, where a long standing beef has been the lack of a veterans hospital. Funny how CORNYN didn't get it done in 5 years of Shrub-running.
When will vets ever learn?!!1 By the bye, a veterans hospital is not necessarily the best answer. It just MIGHT be better for the VA to contract with plentiful local hospitals.

HARLINGEN — U.S. Sen. John Cornyn and Karl Rove, presidential adviser to President Bush, are slated to be in Harlingen today.
Cornyn, R-Texas, is expected to first visit with city commissioners to make an announcement regarding the U.S. Senate’s effort to address the need for a veterans’ hospital in the Rio Grande Valley, according to his office.
The meeting is scheduled for 4:30 p.m. at City Hall, 118 E. Tyler.
“I’ve always supported a veterans’ hospital in the Rio Grande Valley,” Cornyn said during a conference call Thursday. “I have an important announcement to make (Friday). I’ll leave it at that.” ....
