4. I thought the same yesterday morning when I heard it reported on NPR.
SOB's, all of them. While they hemmed and hawed and had a sleep-in/debate all of these fellow citizens of ours, our sons and daughters, brothers, sisters, moms and dads are over there in Iraq just waiting on us all here to f'ing do something to get them home.

The Iraqis really do want us to leave, our soldiers want to come home. WTF are we doing? Absolutely f'ing nothing. I am sure that is probably how most of the soldiers in Iraq feel, I know that is how I would be feeling. Being forced to be witness to all the death and destruction and being a part of it, well it would consume me with feelings I'm not sure I could handle.

And the beat goes on in DC...... a few more days to go and it is summer recess time, for everyone but our brothers and sisters on both sides, in the sands of Iraq. No green zone, just red all the time.
