2. There are laws about media consolidation.

Murdoch is allowed to own both the NY Post and Fox broadcasting in New York City because of an exception made for him.

If those laws let Murdoch's News Corp. get even bigger, then the laws should be changed.

4. Those rules no longer exist...
A company can own up to 40% of the market...

Beside that, the Wall Street Journal is considered a National Newspaper what with their massive circulation...

What you are referring to is Duopoly which was watered down in the early 90's to allow consolidated media in a market...

Here in Cleveland, The Plain Dealer also owns a string of Suburban Papers...

5. Thanks to Tent Lott.
He is a traitor & should be tried & imprisoned for treason for pushing through that change. Our media should not be owned by foreign interests. Global should only go so far.
