July 13, 2007


The MSNBC website misidentified a Republican Senator from Louisiana on Friday as a Democrat. The erroneously captioned photo was posted with a news story about Senator David Vitter, who outed himself on Tuesday as a client of the so-called DC Madam, Deborah Palfrey.

"Sen. David Vitter, D-La., may not be Bill Clinton, but he may wish his wife was Hillary Clinton," reads the MSNBC caption.

6. They have changed it now but the intended damage has, no doubt, been done!
It is beyond disgusting at how obvious crap like this is yet there is never an apology or, as used to happen, an additional note about the correction along with an apology for it happening in the first place.

8. Interesting how this NEVER happens the other way around...
Did Jefferson ever get labeled as a Republican? I think not. It could have something to do with there aren't nearly as many pugnacious assholes on the blue side of the aisle so maybe there aren't as many opportunities to screw it up to their benefit??

11. i guess there just aren't enough dems getting busted
but due to the statistical odds of so many Repubs getting busted, these types of mix-ups are more prevalent. it's all due to volume, really.
