The original BBC News item has been upodated on our TV Teletext News to say he was meeting a car which was carrying explosives and also had in his possession details of a Portsmouth Ferry and a Santanda Court.

Spanish police arrest Eta suspect.
A suspected member of Basque separatist group Eta has been detained in northern Spain, the interior ministry says.
Aritz Arginzoniz Zubiarre was arrested at a bus station in the coastal city of Santander, officials report.

Police said he had aroused suspicion because of a backpack he was carrying, which was later found to contain a gun, a timer and forged identity papers.

Given that Basque Separatist Group ETA have no known axe to grind against the UK I'm not too sure why that has been spun into this. Got bored with blaming Al Queda have they ?
