I just heard a guy on he radio who says he has served in Iraq...
and he told the show's host that he is a liar about bush and his policies and that we are making them lose the war because we are talking about it. He got very angry and said that the all Dems were Liberals and the host said they aren't and he said " come on Nancy Pelosi is the head of the Dems" and we are all liberal because of them.

Do you think that they really think that they are losing because we talk, can he really be that stupid if he really was in the military. These people must know that the so called people who they are fighting can see the news and read the internet.

2. Two answers:
1. I doubt he was a real vet. If he was, he is grasping at straws for meaning an purpose for his time in that shithole.

2. No, we are not losing because of talking about it. We are losing because of incompetent leadership.

5. I agree on both of your points. Especially, number 1.
I doubt very much that he was a veteran.

7. I agree with both points.
Wouldn't be the first time a FReeper called
a radio show, lying about being a Veteran.

Too bad that wasn't questioned in this instance.

15. He didn't have time to question it.
the guy keep rambling on and it was at the last four three minutes of the show. His first response was that all Dems aren't liberal and the guy wouldn't shut up.

9. We're not actually losing since it isn't a war.
It's an occupation during their civil war, that we caused to happen.

Therefore we can leave without dishonoring out military's efforts by saying they lost. They didn't lose, they did their job. Now they should come home.

21. "Incompetent leadership? My speciality." - Commander AWOL
"And remember, I am backed up by Dick Cheney, an expert on war with a record five (5) military deferments, it I am doing the math correctly, that's more than the one Rush Limbaugh got for his anal pimple,."

- Commander AWOL

4. I heard that too. My first thought was a GOP plant, not a real vet.
I just wish the D.J. asked him questions about his service, i.e. where in Iraq? what branch of the service?...etc., then real vets could see right through him.

6. I wonder how many Iraqi children that man killed?
I have no doubt that there are quite a few soldiers in Iraq who are very enthusiastic about what they're doing. There tends to be a "kill them all, let God sort them out" mentality among some military folks - at least, among quite a few that I've served with and known.

31. Zero.
My guess is he was never over there (or he'd be there right now) and to take his rants and transfer and project them on to the people who are actually over there is the harm these people cause.

8. he is a veteran of the
103d keyboard commandos and has a personalized edition of codpiece george to prove it. He still lives at home with his mom who wonders about his strange hours in the basement. The closest he's ever been to combat is the sandbox with his g.i.joe doll and ken.

Edited on Thu Jul-05-07 05:43 PM by RamboLiberal
They are total Bushbots. That is one big problem I see with the all volunteer military.

But I think a lot who are on their 2nd, 3rd, 4th tour are wising up. Did you hear one AF guy at the base Chimpy was propogandizing at yesterday has done 7 tours?!

17. That is the first time I've heard that one..
I heard a senator the other day say that some have served five terms and that was surprising to me. There are some who have went back because of the money and they can't find jobs.

19. Right out of Chimpy's speech
One member of the 167th Airlift Wing, Master Sergeant Richard Howland, has deployed seven times since the 9/11 attacks -- and this good man just volunteered to go to Baghdad for an eighth deployment in September.

and I skipped through some of his talking points I get so angry just reading what he is saying. I would like to know who he thinks he is saving when they are bombing and killing them and they can't tell who is an insurgent or not.

27. Sounds like the replay of the Ed Schultz last 15/20 minutes
some moron claimed he had served a year in Iraq (How'd HE get out? Claim gay?) in 2004 ... really just wouldn't shut up, didn't back up his "facts" of how the Libs/Dems were destroying the country other than "You do it by saying we lost the war!" ...

29. It was Tony Trupiano...
I was looking at the clock wishing he had called earlier so that he would have more time. I didn't hear the part about him claiming to be gay to get out of the military. If that is so what in the hell was he talking about,if he wanted to win so badly he should have stayed in. These people are so brainwashed.

30. No, he didn't claim to be gay ... but I wondered ... he said he spent
a year in the military fighting in Iraq ... and with the "stop-loss" ... how the hell did he manage to get out? Unless he really forked over some $$$ to REpuke campaign coffers, the only other way out is to say you're gay ... or dead ...
