5. He's hoping an appeals court will put his sentence on hold.
They won't make him surrender to start serving his time until they rule on his appeal. No word yet on how soon they will decide.

13. I believe he's waiting to see if the appeals court let him stay out of jail pending appeal.
It's mentioned in the article that's linked in the OP.

14. Ah... must've missed that part, trying to read it too late when I should
have already been in bed. :)

But I already had it in my mind from previous stories that he had already been told he had to go to jail during any appeal and that he may not even be granted an appeal.

12. Tips For Little Aspen...
1.) When the soap drops, smile and think of "shock and awe"

2.) Cigarettes are only taxable if you smoke them yourself. The ones you give away are deducatble.

3.) Arrange for conjugal visits...Judy is getting lonely

4.) Cheney says "don't worry, i've got pictures of the warden and something that looks like a feret"

5.) From now on the name "Boney White Meat" will be yours and yours alone

6.) Rumor has it, upon parole, you'll be named to the National Safety Council as a new crash-test dummy...due to your expertise in being tossed under busses.

7.) Larry King said, "upon parole, don't call!"

8.) Barbara Comstock, Victoria Toensing and Mary Matalin want conjugal visit rights, too.

9.) Pat Fitzgerald called...says there's still time to do the right thing

10.) Enjoy your stay...it's well deserved.
