I. Scooter Libby inmate number 28301-016.
According to the Bureau of Prisons, which is ready and waiting for Libby's arrival, a brand spanking new number --- 28301-016

Dick Cheney's gatekeeper. The man to go to before anything is brought to the attention of Dick Cheney who may or may not eventually get around to telling George.

That man. I. Lewis Libby.

Scooter gets a prison number.

Ha.

Again Ha!

4. Nope
Not going to let any dark thoughts detract from the enjoyment of the assignment of a prisoner number for Scooter.

Nope. I. Lewis Libby now has an orange jumpsuit waiting for him with the number 28301-016 printed nice and bold on the front pocket.

Makes me smile.

8. It depends on his state of residency.
If in Ohio, yes....but not while incarcerated for a conviction. If you are in jail and have yet to be tried or convicted, they can absentee vote.

as he celebrates the anniversary of Ken Lay's well timed scattering among the aspen.

13. Yep. And just think of Scooter reading the headlines today
and sweating it out wondering if bush and company are even weighing all the political ramifications. Hey Scooter is not much good to them now. The rats may be thinking why spend any goodwill on him. No real payoff.

Inmate number 28301-016. Has a good ring to it.

14. Numbers
Prison is not a comfortable place for those who place any value on their individuality. The idea of one's identity being a number rather than your name is part of the dehumanizing process.

16. I am happy just to see that. Even before he spends one day in Prison.
even that much seems to help, just a little bit.

17. Yep, with the whole intake process, humiliation, crying-sick-like-Paris-Hilton
begging to go home. Maybe then he'll turn the aspen leaves over on Cheney.
