Murdoch: "Do We Put On Things That Favor The Right? - I Don't Think We Do."
Quote of the Day

"CNN is pretty consistently on the left, if you look at their choice of stories, what they play up. It’s not what they say, it’s what they highlight... And if you look at our general news, do we put on things which favor the right rather than the left? I don’t know... We don’t think we do. We’ve always insisted we don’t. I don’t think we do. Aw, it’s subjective. Neither side admits it."

-- Rupert Murdoch, in an interview with Time magazine, on Fox News' alleged bias.

could also be as stupid as a rock. Of course, he's not... he's just a liar. Or he's delusional. But he's not stupid.

Murdock doesn't lie all the time... he only lies every time his lips move.

ETA to include this blast from the past, lest we forget:

Rupert Murdoch Loves Hillary Clinton
Conservative Media Mogul To Host Fundraiser For *Liberal N.Y. Senator

Entire story, dated May 9, 2006:

http://www.cbsnews.com/stories/2006/05/09/politics/main1600694.shtml

* I take personal exception to this word used to describe Mrs. Clinton, but to CBS News, I guess it is more dramatic to characterize her this way when Murdoch is giving her a fundraiser. Makes ALL us Liberals look like the sell-outs she is.

4. Ehh, the WSJ is already a RW Rag
It's just a RW rag for literate people. I suppose Rupert could dumb the paper down some, but I don't think it could be much more RW than it is now.

5. Are you FUCKED in the head, Rupus?
Your whole STATION is a proven GOPaganda arm! Several of your "newscasters" have attested to their love of all things Failure Fuhrer! You masturbate to pictures of Reagan!

OK, maybe that last one's a bit of a reach, BUT STILL . . .

6. Funny but former FOX employees tell a completely different story, Rupert.
From a summary of the documentary Outfoxed:

This documentary also reveals the secrets of Former Fox news producers, reporters, bookers and writers who expose what it's like to work for Fox News. These former Fox employees talk about how they were forced to push a "right-wing" point of view or risk their jobs. Some have even chosen to remain anonymous in order to protect their current livelihoods. As one employee said "There's no sense of integrity as far as having a line that can't be crossed."

15. Watching "Outfoxed" will answer a lot of questions you've never thought to ask...
Hearing the former Fox employees talk about the daily memos from on high containing the buzzwords that are to be stressed ("flip-flopper," for instance) is enlightening.

Rupert is either lying through his teeth in this quote, or in total denial.

Come on, Murdoch, you didn't get this far by being a stupid motherfucker. You damn will know Faux Moos is as rightwingnut and as biased as it's possible to be.

Not even a "nice try" for that laughable lie, Rupert!

10. Rupert just needs to be honest and call FOX Noise what it is
Conservoporn.

There's nothing wrong with admitting that. FOX Noise does serve a purpose. But just don't call it 'news'.

11. Does anyone really think he would admit to the bias?
These people have no qualms about lying right to our face. The remarkable thing is there are people who believe it. Sad.
