FILIBUSTER!!!. You've got to be kidding....
We just want an 'up or down vote'...like you did remember? Let's just send it to the Floor and have 'an up or down vote'. It IS the democratic process you know.

What...I didn't quite hear you right...of, it's the Democrat process? No I don't think that's quite correct...grammatically that is.

Let's try it again Senator...why would you want all 49 of your colleagues to filibuster a process, when all we are asking for is a simple 'up or down vote'? Loke Senator Frist used to ask for before he carved his initials in the drawer of the desk. Let's just take it to the Floor and represent the will of the American people who duly elected all of you.

Not a great idea at this time...? The Founding Fathers woudl have liked to have seen it that way, so please do not contribute to the destruction of the Constitution and the Will of the People.

HOW'S IT FEEL TO BE PATRONIZED LIKE THAT, SENATOR MITCH?

1. I don't think Mitch is going to win this one.
Frist came close, because he had a large majority of the Pubs on his side. Mitch is fightingsome very powerful Pubs, like Warner, Hagel, and many others on this one.

12. Nope Warner is going to vote against his own thing here, apparently, in the name of party
solidarity.

2. The Many faces of Mitch McConnel
When Dems mentioned Filibuster it was an underhanded dishonest attempt to thwart the process. Now it's okay for them? WTF. Are these shitheads even listening to themselves?

13. Many faces?
All I've ever seen is his huge bugged out eyes, and it's obvious that there's a big empty space behind them. :silly:

4. Typical Republicans
I was wondering why no one has mentioned the "Nuclear Option". Hit them back with their own
amunition. But the Democrats will never do it...Can you tell that I'm getting frustrated...

9. I love politics. The irony of it all.
2006 - Democrats: "Filibuster the nominations."
Republicans: "Up or down vote."

2007 - Democrats: "Up or down vote."
Republicans: "Filibuster the resolution."

10. call their bluff!
The people don't support the Iraq War as it is. The people would not support a filibuster over even a nonbinding resolution about Iraq. So let them filibuster!!!! Then make their filibuster a campaign issue in 08 for all the Reps up for re-election. Make this a big issue, it is not an issue that the Reps will come out of this winners....BRING...IT....ON!!!

11. Republicans are vermin. They only want to stop stem-cell research
because they're afraid any decent scientist would eliminate the "GOP" gene.
