More people will be forced to look at all of the murder, thievery, and lies.

In the meantime, we have even more incentive for real Americans to stand up and tell the truth.

The Dems won a huge, historic, nationwide victory last November...
and the TV talking heads IMMEDIATELY changed the subject to an

5. Too hyped and premature

as far as the actual voter is concerned. The work in reaching the voters could just as well be done several months from now when things in the world may have drastically changed anyway. The REAL pressing issue is indeed public pressure in concert with the people in power now to DO something.

We should never key from media priorities, interests or talking points. And in the case of real campaigns they are utterly devoid of usefulness at this stage.

7. I'm worried about other things

I mean if media attention early in a campaign meant the guy would win for sure, we all be following President Dean right now. Which makes me think we will not be gettig another President Clinton.

Campaigns are now like Christmas ..... the season is stretched out every cycle. I often wondered in the last couple of years if the longer Christmas season has actually meant people buy LESS, not more, because there's not the same sense of urgency or sense anymore that there's a real Christmas season. I worry the same thing might happen for politics. People who might be involved will be so sick of it and so used to the perpetual campaigning that election season won't be special or important.

At the same time, my friend in an earlier post is right, this is what the media lives for. Maybe they'll stop that from happening.
