More Americans, even repubs, are finally starting to 'get it'.
And 'it' is the fact that most politicians, no matter what stripe, don't give a flying fuck for we out here in flyover land, and only exist to enrich themselves further, and remove themselves from our fate.

'It' is the fact that they are conquering the globe, Roman style, and all of us, every single last one of us are chumps, slaves to be exploited.

'It' encompasses so many things, it's difficult to wrap your mind around it. But it's also so basic a child could understand it. Presidents, senators, congressmen, and c.e.o's are the kings, queens, princes, barons, lords and royalty, they are only a handful of elites, who exist because we do all the fucking suffering and work, we are the serfs, the prolls, the faceless underclass who toil under the ground on the machinery, while the surface dwellers enjoy the good life.

'It' is the sense that we've been royally screwed, and the trend is only getting worse, the richer they get, the more frazzled we get, the more health care they have, the less we have, the more gas they burn up in limos and small jets, the less we have, the more power they have, the more we lose.

'It' can't go on like this much longer.

1. You have hit the nail on the head. We are in the last stages of the
fall of the Republic. Most either cannot see it or refuse to see it, but it is beginning to be felt by more and more underlings everyday. They can't quite put there grimy little fingers on it, but they feel it turning beneath them. We are the dead, we just aren't buried yet...

2. And yet, they will pull the lever tomorrow for another corporate empty suit.
Why do you think the R's are having such a fierce circle jerk over Fred Thompson right now? Damn Hollywood Liberals :eyes:.

They will just not vote for a D. Period. Because; well, just because. They are democrats and they are evil, and they want to take all of our money, and they want to convert their good Christian kids to homosexuality, and they want to burn flags, and teach anti-god stuff in the schools, and kill babies, and on,and on, and on...

At least that's what my hardcore R buddies keep saying.

The brainwashing is just too extreme at this point. I swear, sometimes we need to start a 12 step program to wean people off of knee jerk republicanism. It's almost as bad as being addicted to oxycontin.

3. It's truely the only relevant question: American Empire or democratic republic?
Unfortunatly, most members of congress and from both sides of the aisle seem to go with empire.

4. Yes, please, let's screw the dem politicians AGAIN
No dem politician cares for any of us, yet they put their lives on hold and demean themselves begging for money to get elected.........to what end? I'm guessing some are in it for the connections, just like some doctors are in it for the money. But, to cast ALL politicians as not caring, is the same as casting all doctors as not caring. The only thing that this diatribe does is make people not want to vote. After all "Gore and Bush are the same", that's your mentality?

Because the dems aren't doing YOUR bidding, or their not fast enough to do YOUR bidding does not mean they don't care. The represent THEIR district, not YOU. If you have a beef with YOUR rep, then go at it, but you leave all the other reps out of it, they are doing the job they were elected to do.

I may not always agree with the dems, but they care a damn sight better than most repubs out there.

11. The COVER appears to be against him
The article inside reads like a playbook on how the 2008 repugs can turn the country around. Sickening.

9. IT!
Over 70% of the American People favor Withdrawing from Iraq, but the "Top Tier" candidates from BOTH Political Partys have pledged to Continue the Occupation.

"There are forces within the Democratic Party who want us to sound like kinder, gentler Republicans. I want us to compete for that great mass of voters that want a party that will stand up for working Americans, family farmers, and people who haven't felt the benefits of the economic upturn."---Paul Wellstone
