SPEND A month IN MY SHOES. Should be a new reality show for EVERy congress man and woman
I am tired of these congress critters deciding my needs and issues when they do not know what the FUCK I go through.

I invite them to come do 30 days as me..

That shoudl be a reality show like wife-swap

Then they might be qualified to speak for me

18. Of course my response was snarky!
It was MEANT to be.

These threads about "they should spend a month in MY shoes" are just so dumb and counter-productive, it's incredible. C'mon... get real! They're not gonna do that and it just makes one sound like an idiot to even suggest it.

My point is... "Boo Hoo, poor me, they don't represent my needs!"
No shit, Sherlock.

8. Didn't former Senator Bob Graham of Florida do that?
I remember reading about him spending time doing the actual jobs of various constituents.

No wonder he was always one of the good guys. I was so sad to see him retire.

12. Make Me Rich - that's the one I want
George Soros, Warren Buffet, and Oprah go into low-income homes and teach people how to pull themselves up by their bootstraps. In a short 13 weeks.

13. Actually, several Represetatives recently did this
IIRC they lived for a month on a food stamp allowance. It was about $22 a week for one person. One of the Congressmen recounted taking peanut butter and jelly onto an airplane, but he was stopped at the check in and they were confiscated. He said, there went 3 days worth of meals, and I didn't know what I would do to replace them.

20. I volunteer my shoes.
But the congress critter would have to inflicted with multiple illnesses, poverty and be reliant on someone who has polar opposite views.
