In 2000 he campaigned for Gore (a bunch). In 2004 he campaigned for Kerry and apparently was interested in his senate seat if it became vacant. In 2003 he gave money to DK, Wes Clark and Gephardt.

He has a passion for politics and is a great American.

Ben is smart and articulate (for a white guy, LOL.) He will be heard by people who might ignore the usual pols. He is very progressive and thoughtful.

Yesterday, Tweety had Tom DeLay in that seat, so I hope it has been sterilized and deloused!

He always said nice things about General Clark and I appreciated that. During the 2004 convention he went on Fox news (O'Reilly) and even impressed my South Carolina Republican brother.

Generally, I don't like it when movie stars get involved in politics, but Ben seems intelligent and doesn't act like a know-it-all.
