i clear my ignore list yesterday. you should, too.

i had a very long list, because the hillbots were really starting to depress me. i had really planned to keep it until after the death of gd:p.
but when i began seeing a couple of prime offenders on the greatest page switching sides, i figured i had to be there to personally hold out my hand to these folks.
i think they should all be greeted with open arms. as many arms as possible.

I did it in stages, and finally cleared the remaining 6 last night. I've been making a point of posting some kind words in each thread I see from a Clinton supporter coming out for Obama.

I won't be doing that until gd:p goes away. Not sure how many you had, but you said it was a long list. That makes me think more then 100. I have 50 and have tried hard to keep it at that or lower. I try to put only the most vile ones on there. Went through my list today and took off one that was tomb stoned and one that clearly has indicated they support the nominee and added one.

5. I discovered that many of the posters on my list aren't even posting

here anymore. I started noticing this during busy times when the Ignore feature doesn't work.

I've also found that there are a few that continue to spew - one particularly filthy-mouthed one was doing it last night - but I refuse to feed it. I just alerted and watched as their posts were deleted.

There are three or four specific ones on my list that are still spewing crap (I know which ones, but I won't say who they are). Come Wednesday night (or maybe just before the deadline) I'll let pardon them. I'm sure a few of them have already said they'll back the nominee, but I'd rather wait at this point until things settle down.

But it wasn't because of Clinton vs. Obama. I don't have anyone on my Ignore list for that reason, just as I didn't put anyone there for attacking Edwards, back when he was still in the race and I was supporting him.

At the time, some Obama supporters kept repeating very nasty attacks on Edwards, but I tried to let it pass, hoping it was a temporary outgrowth of campaign emotion. The kind of personal attacks that get people on my Ignore list are caused by what I think are permanent problems. That justifies ignoring them forever.

7. i had some that i suspected were real personality disorders.

i think i had about 50 on the list. i really let long time posters go a long way before adding them. i just couldn't be around the shit stirrers. especially those that i suspected were paid to be here. not supporting that sort of industry but stirring it up with them.
i just have a hard time passing up a fight. it was ignore, or fall into the black hole.
but i continue to be pleasantly surprised to see the liberated making gracious statements. which is why i started this thread. sort of a sight to behold.

9. I flushed mine yesterday.

And then the first thread I opened today made me regret doing so. The first six posts would have all been "ignored".

I was amazed to actually find a few tombstones among the wreckage when I cleared it out though. And several others who are MIA. But there is a certain number of them that just won't quit until their pizza comes.

and i saw her posting in another blog the other day same shit. so she stays off unless she ever becomes human. and she isn't clinton or obama supporter either had nothing to do with that, i took her off last year.

Most of the people here i realized were just over enthused about their candidate and so i just didn't read most of what they said and hoped for it all to end like it pretty much has.

18. Don't' blame you, I've put three back on mine. One has pretty much said they won't support Obama

the other two have attacked me because I have stated that I do not have a set opinion in terms of gay marriages. Their claim is that I'm a bigot, not for saying that I wouldn't support it 100% agreement (I also said I wouldn't oppose it either). Personally I will go along with the policies Obama comes up with.

26. It seem to me that this is a coordinated effort of PUMA's

on this board. About a half dozen people have been laying low with their attacks and have now gone full throttle after anything that is posted about Clinton as well as attacking Obama.

I've heard the word "bot" and the term "selected" (used in the context that Obama was selected by Dean) as well as several people raging about Dean himself.

The mods and admins know this is going on, but refuse to do anything about it.

I just put three more of them on my ignore list.
