Here is a list of US Senators who have not yet endorsed (super delegates)
Salazar (CO)
Biden (DE)
Carper (DE)
Akaka (HI)
Harkin (IA)
Landrieu (LA)
Cardin (MD)
Levin (MI)
Baucus (MT)
Tester (MT)
Reid (NV)
Lautenberg (NJ)
Brown (OH)
Wyden (OR)
Reed (RI)
Webb (VA)
Byrd (WVA)
Kohl (WI)

If they divided by states won it would look like this:

Obama: Salazar, Biden, Carper, Akaka, Harkin, Landrieu, Cardin, Webb, Kohl=9
Hillary: Levin (if he counts), Reid, Lautenberg, Brown, Reed=5
To be determined: Baucus, Tester, Wyden=3

Of course this isn't the way it always goes, for instance one of Hillary's biggest victories was in Oklahoma and Gov. Henry endorsed Obama.

I personally think that Harry Reid will ultimately come out for Obama. I think Mary Landrieu will also be for Obama because she needs to do well with black voters and Obama will bring them out. I think ultimately Kohl will go for Obama because Obama is doing so much better in WI polls than Hillary (he beats McCain while Hillary loses to him). I think Akaka will be for Obama in part because of Obama's Hawaii roots. I think it's possible Byrd of WVA will ultimately go for Obama due to the war and also for a personal reason. Early on in his career he had briefly embraced the KKK, and by endorsing Obama at the end of his career he may try and rectify that. I think Harkin will ultimately come out for Obama because, again, Obama does so much better in Iowa than Hillary does in the polls (he wins, she loses) and he's up for re-election.

What do you guys think?

1. Most of the red state Senators will go to Obama
Politicians in the red states know that the Democratic Party will do much better in their states with Obama heading the ticket. Some might look at other matters, especially if they have strong ties to the Clintons, but I bet that most of the red state Senators who have not committed yet will vote for Obama (unless something happens which makes Clinton the front runner again and they are reluctant to be on the wrong side of the Clintons if back in the White House).

2. If Byrd endorses Obama before the WV primary, would that have a major effect?
Byrd *is* West Virginia. I can't imagine it wouldn't be a HUGE endorsement, so long as it came out significantly BEFORE the primary, and he campaigned with Obama. Otherwise WV is going to be a very painful primary day for us.
