Originally broadcast on the CBC's "22 Minutes" comedy show. Yes, those are real politicians singing along (including current and former Prime Ministers). It's a few years old now (made when Chretien was PM) but still pretty funny.

We could be heading into a spring election, if the Harper government falls on a non-confidence vote. Game on!

This is one of my favourite Mercer vids.
I wonder if he could pull it off with the numb-nuts who are in the House these days. Oh, the NDP, Liberals, and Bloc would be game, but Harper is such a humourless control freak that he wouldn't let his MPs have a leash long enough to risk anything spontaneous.
