2. Great interview with Scarborough
Edwards was fabulous, at ease and to the point. Joe was really very pleasant.

Thanks for the opportunity to see this.

16. Scarborough started turning around back when he followed Keith
I'm not saying he completely turned around or even has yet (prior to this clip, I've only seen about an hour of Morning Joe), but he started speaking out against Bush before the '06 elections. He's got a couple liberal sons who turned him onto Stephen Colbert and I think they've been influencing him other ways too. Maybe he's still got a ways to go, but I think he's making journey from one side of the spectrum to the other.

19. He's sticking with a profitable business strategy for estabilishing brand identity

The alternative to FOX News and so forth. I'm sure it's proven quite successful for General Electric. He's just mirroring public opinion, following a successful formula to make a few bucks.

I HIGHLY, HIGHLY doubt there's been any intrinsic change for Scarborough.

7. Edwards showed he has a real sense of humor.
He is likable. He will get along with the press very well without compromising what he stands for. Although Edwards is a fighter, has ideals and a strong sense of right and wrong, his strength is tempered by fundamental kindness, respect even for those who disagree with him and courteousness. In short, Edwards rises above personal animosity. He is the person we need to bring the country back together and dispel all the irrational partisan anger.

9. Well said.
Yes, he will fight against the people that we need to fight against - the special interests, lobbyists, right wing - while he works with his basic decency, kindness, and compassion to heal the nation. He's exactly the leader we need right now.

What a concept :D

I'm watching KO right now and he's tearing Bush to shreds over his presser and all the lies he told!

13. it was good to see a friendly interview
John had a few questions thrown at him that really seemed to be aimed at getting him to throw mud at other dems and he showed integrity and fielded those questions well. Like the Obama experience question: the voters will be deciding if they think he has enough experience. Exactly! It is up to the voters, not these pundits and media personalities deciding for us.

17. This was really great to see
It amazes me how relaxed and personable John Edwards can be. He and Scarborough talked like two guys at a diner. I couldn't be interviewed on national television without pissing myself.

Of course the message was good too, that almost goes without saying, but today I really noticed his ease before the camera.

:)

I guess that means you won't be running for office anytime soon? :)

Or, be a guest on Colbert Report? :)

I finally learned to be OK speaking in public, but facing a camera... YIKES!

:hi:
