1. Thanks Hissyspit! I tried to post this but I'm too "young".
I haven't had that problem in years.

Olbermann estimates the cost per American family is now up to $20,000.
Jonathon Alter calls Bush a "petulant, smirking teenager" with a credit card.

2. it's all about more Debt!
Well here is a whole new reason for the 9/11, war of terror, and the wars forever strategy of the Cheney junta,. More Endless Debt!
They borrow money from PRIVATE lenders and pay interest on it virtually forever,. this is the part of the system that makes it unstoppable! How can peaceful democratic people possibly fight against international bankers that claim to hold the title to nearly everything,. and these private bankers get an endless supply of free money,. how can we fight against that??? They can hire armies of trolls to destroy democratic debate of issues,. hell, they now hire armies of mercenaries to protect their interests,. and they can blow up 3 high-rise towers in New York and get away with it!

3. Pay as you go war
Every April 15 every taxpayer pays their share of the previous year's cost of war on a progressive scale. Anybody with an immediate family member in a war zone pays nothing. Anyone that has ever lost an immediate family member in any war zone pays nothing. Anyone with a serving military member in the immediate family pays half. No serving military member pays anything. Retired pay half.

Great for recruiting the children of the rich through parental encouragement. No such thing as a worthless rich kid.

Payment of the tax is optional but tax payment records are public information available on the internet including tax exemption category, amount and statement declining payment and reasons.

6. I love how the Democrats act as if only Bush's war is "on credit."
The main implication being that "credit card" is synonymous with debt. That's our whole economy, not just defense policy. Buying something from a store is putting the future of our children on a credit card, since we have such massive trade deficits with other countries, particularly China. Yeah, Bush put the country in a much worse fiscal condition overall with the tax cuts and the reckless wars in both Afghanistan and Iraq (which, by the way, is almost as illegal and aggressive as the one in Iraq, and would have been waged by Gore even if he had been selected by the Supreme Court).

It's also pretty funny to watch the Democrats and Republicans go through this HUGE, ELABORATE charade that they're in fundamental disagreement about this war.

This is all a diversion from the larger issue: the privatization of the money system. We can't question that, though, as that would be questioning "freedom." Both parties are all for that, particularly that moron Chuck Schumer (who just ADORES Greenspan).
