1. That last ad was very bizzarre!

2. The ad is symbolic: Just like the actor who uses a stunt double

for the rough stuff, Herman Cain will depend on someone else to step in when he finds he's not up to the task. It's part of his "I'll put together a committee" or "I'll surround myself with the right people" strategy.

When I saw this video I got the following; Texas=GW Bush, he is TEXAS; Liberals=Racist-read Conservatives hate racists; Real Men get the blond women; Hollywood Actors are Real Conservatives, regardless of what the MSM says (good PR to say they are?). However, the chicken WAS over the top. I see this as a set up for ads to come from Herman. Next I think we'll see that CEO's are what will save the US and some period piece about 'devout' Christians saving and creating the US in their image.

The cigarette piece was another Conservative idea of 'personal freedoms attacked by the Liberals.' Also, 'smoking might be a subconscious link to marijuana.

A good example of rewriting history; blacks were a valued asset to US history and there was no such thing as SLAVERY, JIM CROW or any such mundane thing as inequality. Any other thought is a propaganda from the MSM.

Holy crap Batman, Cain has so much to overcome in getting a real chance at becoming the actual Republican nominee not the least one being an angry black man. His persona will be overlooked by the media that matters to the real Conservative-read Fox News. If Cain gets the solid support of the Evangelical Christian leadership then he has a good chance. I had thought that Obama would have a real fight next November. Cain is the one who will give him the better chance of winning a second term. 5. I like your analysis

What about what the ad says about how Herman Cain, and his campaign views the intelligence of his audience. It's directed at IQs of about 70ish, I think.

Oddly, I didn't pick up on the most obvious thing you pointed out, the white guy punching the black "liberal." But then Obama isn't a liberal, so I wouldn't have, and once again, it's directed at those who watch FOX anyway, so they'd see that.

Seems like the ad says Herman Cain will play the typical Uncle Tom role, slapping down and punishing the black men, for the rich white plantation owner.
