2. Now that was some BS.....

It was server overload because of the 5 buck monthly fee on Sat. but my
web page never showed anonymous , and was still able to pay my rent and
other bills within 2 minutes, if you just waited for the page to load.

My mortgage is with these animals-BoA I mean. I paid the mortgage Saturday about 6pm and had no problem.

Their main web page is up and running now.

There was a mention of BoA's site running very slow on PBS tonight.

4. Somehow I suspect crashing the public portal only hurts us.

I'm not in the banking business but I'd bet the big players have a VPN or something...

8. Crashing websites that a lot of people use is not endearing or particularly noble.

In fact, it isn't a good idea.

I'm pretty much in favor of pranks against the high and mighty, but shutting down internet sites even ones I don't like seems very counterproductive to me.

It's best to respect other people's right to communicate via the internet. I would like more communication, not less.

I don't know. Anyway that we can get a message out or some snatch of mention to remind people that they exist isn't a total loss, and I don't think what they managed interfered in actual banking business.
