... he can't be serious when he says that the NY Times *never* publishes the opinions of left wing intellectuals.

Seems to me I've seen Chomsky himself on the op-ed page more than a couple of times.

3. He's on the OpEd page - not the editorial board...
A balanced NYT editorial board would include Chomsky, or Gore Vidal, or Amy Goodman. Fat chance that will happen anytime soon. The NYT and other corporate media outlets will let the occasional leftie have a few columns, but not a real voice.
