3. Kudos! But the question remains, will all this peace-friendly gesture

stop the still corrupt-to-the-core pols of 'today' from always making the situation 'worse' than it was before the cut$, before the criminal bailouts, before the obvious 'war based on lies', before the stupid and wasteful 'war on pot', before the 'war on unions' and on and on... ?

I fear the answer is: Nope. Not at all. The corrupt-to-the-core pols will just ignore every warning, every voice of reason, and will just continue their work of destruction, so they can 'personally' profit from it later.

The peaceful cleanup and (hopefully) restauration will not solve the widely spread problem caused by the CORRUPT elite.

4. Will this peace friendly gesture stop

the erosion occurring due to deforestation in south eastern kakadoo ? Will it stop salinity from over sue of Bore water ?
Will it bring back Arrested Development ? Will it create flexible touchscreens ?

In other words these were not protests, they were criminal riots of the most disgusting kind and had absolutely, what so ever, to do with the
issues you posted.


These were 13-20 year old kids smashing shop windows and stealing carpets, shoes, and pretty much anything they could get their hands on and then burning them down, along with peoples homes.

On another note, what's the difference between 13-20 years old poor people destroying (maybe) a hundred (or less) of other poor people's (some insured, if not all) stuff (or lives, if their stuff is all what their lives is about), and who-cares-what-their-ages-are rich corporate predators destroying millions of them (albeit, at a slower pace...) with the help of their paid operatives (corrupt pols) every day?

If that sickens you also, you can use the ignore button all you want.

11. thinking people are missing the point of whats going on overall -

the unrest overall is due to the lack of opportunity to live at a sustainable level and the police state repression and persecution of mainly poor people for the sole reason of being poor. it can not stand, this divide of the ultra "haves", and the "have not-s-fking-thing", is the greatest it has been since the 30's, this is widely known and worldwide there is a call to change, freedom and justice are the demand, democracy is secondary. and i submit that we have lost the freedom and justice for the illusion of democracy long ago and are truly - fked.
