5. I don't know that we're paying extra for Ch 348

but we do get it. Sadly, for me, Thom's Big Picture is on the same time as Keith. Of course, that conflict is not insurmountable.

that "no signal"..just thought it was an extra fee for the"liberal" channel

The compromise leaders become the also rans, they are neither the great heros nor the great villains.

9. I can understand why Blacks, especially of Southern

heritage celebrate the Emancipation Proclamation.

But when you really look at its hypocrisy it is a disgustingly political document that treats African Slaves as pawns. The war ended with Blacks still uneducated deeply impoverished, disrespected even despised and still suppressed, particularly in the South, even to this day.

And remember the "freedom" Lincoln gave Southern slaves was as stunningly unequal freedom with virtually no equality under the Constitution even though that document guarantees equality and places the burden of enforcing that ideal on the federal government.
