When we have politicians like that "r" who walked out of the "debt ceiling" talks, betting on the devaluation of the American dollar, what can we expect?
IMO, this is traitorous to have a "representative of the people" making bets that the dollar will devalue, when he has a direct impact on that possibility. At the Very least, that should automatically trigger an ethics probe.
It is no different than judges ruling on cases that directly affect them. Kind of like Clarence Thomas. I haven't heard anything lately about "Justice" and his illegal profiteering.
I was participating in and watching the results of some "on-line polling" about the raising of the debt ceiling. Almost 60% of those polled, wanted to end the tax cuts for the wealthy and leave the social programs alone.
Obviously, the majority of people are not being represented. Of course, the wealthy can buy their politicians... We have to take money out of politics or watch our country continue to decline so the wealthy can profit while America is destroyed.
These people are financial terrorists. They are treasonous. We have to get these people out of our political process or we will end up just like the former USSR, a country run by criminals, where honest people do not stand a chance.
It kinda sounds like where we are already at...IMO, our only salvation is IF we can return to a voting system that is verifiable and average Americans vote in their interest, for a candidate that is truly on the side of average Americans....
