When you can't debate them on substance, you make fun of them. I heard a Hannity show once where they took Barney Frank to task - nothing about his policies, it was about how much he sounded like Sylvester the Cat. This is part of the RW arsenal - what are they supposed to do, debate the FACTS?

Clearly, Rush Limbaugh is demonstrating his bigotry by attacking The Young Turks host Cenk Uygur not only by his (perhaps non-Germanic) name, but Limbaugh is in his true teabagger form underhandedly making ad hominem attacks against Uygur based on the the geographical/national origins of Uygur's family/ancestors.

8. Can't believe I used to listen to that A-hole every day

Even read his books...but that was decades ago. I've moved leftward and he's moved off the scale rightward. He's so toxic for toxicity's sake he's gotta be on the verge of a meltdown. You can just sense it somehow.

I will tell you this though: While I have moved leftward, I still remember well the absolutely fanatical support his fans give him. Still know many of them today. They adopt such a football game/team player mentality, that there is NOTHING, repeat, Nothing he can say or do that is over the top to them. They've circled the wagons against "libruls" and "big labuuuurrr" and will follow him to hell if he says to. I'm not a religious sort at all, but my concession to that is that he sure deserves to go to hell. What a nasty bastard.
