3. Holder
Should investigate and stop the corruption in Miami Beach. Police there can not act as unchecked tyrants on the populace. Justice for all the victims.

5. So if a person is unlawfully trying to harm you or a family member, you
think it matters if they are wearing a uniform?

Unlawful is not OK because someone is in a uniform.

In fact I think it makes it worse if they are in a position of authority.

Teachers, Doctors, etc. are held to higher standards of ethics, why not police?

If they can't follow the laws they enforce, they should be held accountable.

Shooting of course as in any case, should be a last resort and only in a case of fearing for your life.

7. Shoot a cop in America
and they return with 100 bullets to your body but if an American cop shoots you, he gets a 2 week paid vacation. What a lovely police state we live in :)

9. you are an idiot
you really have no clue of the internal/external process a cop goes through when he is involved in a shooting. You have no clue. Do some research before shooting your mouth off and you won't come across as a complete moran.

11. oh no
it seems like I have touched a nerve. Are by any chance a cop? am sorry I didnt mean to hurt your feeling but whatever is going through a cop's mind, they should be more careful when discharging their weapon. I have read so many stories of police fatally shooting unarmed men (mostly minorities) for no damn reason.

Aleast they could learn how to shoot at the legs/arms and away from vital organs. Btw I did my research by watching the departed. Its more than enough research for an internet thread :)

8. The police in Miami are definitely on definitely on the lawless side.
I lived there. The Bill of Rights is routinely ignored, the innocent get hurt.

10. I've heard this a lot about Miami
I want to know what the FBI and other oversight organizations are doing about this.

There will always be hyperbolic people reacting to the slightest use of force done by a cop, but the people have to trust the force overall if they want to be effective.
