the sound is very low after the clapping and chanting.

the Cub President refuses to meet with delegation and sends down "Kelly" who doesn't want to say what his title is.

Our allies at Spirit of Truth brought to a head the incredibly successful Receipts for Rights Campaign, having collected $105,000 in receipts from people who have committed to spend their money at places that meet their values. Spirit of Truth led a delegation to Cub Foods headquarters in Stillwater to deliver the receipts.

The delegation asked to speak with the President of Cub Foods, Keith Wyche. Instead, “Kelly” (who we believe is Kelly Brandes, Director of Loss Prevention at SuperValu Inc), was the person who came down to greet the delegation.

Reverend Grant Stevensen explained that the delegation was calling on Cub Foods to meet with CTUL regarding the workers who are hired by companies that Cub Foods contracts to do cleaning. Kelly responded by giving the delegation a page on Carlson Building Maintenance letterhead stating that “an activist organization” is organizing activities that are designed to create the impression that the cleaning workers are employed by Cub Foods, and not Carlson. This seems just a bit ironic, given that Rev. Stevensen had just named that most of the workers are employed by Carlson.

Apparently this has become the stock response of Cub Foods, since the Cub Foods store near Lake and Minnehaha is giving clients copies of the letter. It seems like Cub Foods forgot the next step after attacking us, and they have gone back to laughing at us (and their clients) by handing out letters from a company that they claim they have no control over.

The delegation handed him six bags filled with receipts and petition signatures from over 200 people, and asked that he deliver them to Mr. Wyche. They then invited Kelly to join them in prayer, calling on Cub Foods to do the right thing, and sang a hymn as they walked out the door. Check out this video of the delegation:
