1. What the honorable judge fails to mention...

... is that Fedex/UPS has no directly comparable service to first class mail. The lowest standard ground rate is Fedex Smartpost which utilizes the ... USPS(!) at about a buck and a half, (and is SLOWER than the PO). So, go ahead. Get rid of the USPS. I'd like to hear the howling from, say, JPM/Chase if they had their costs TRIPLED, (or more as Fedex couldn't sponge off of the post office), to send out the still considerable amount of bills that are paper. You know, to the people too broke to own a computer/pay for an ISP. Another lying repug asshole.

2. so now we should be concerned about the profits of

JP Morgan and Chase? If Lysander Spooner through competition brought down the price of mailing 1 oz of mail from Boston to NY from 14c to 3c then am all for competition in first class mail. I could care less about the bottom line of Chase and co who keep filling my mail box with hundred of junk mail every year.
