6. Tourists...OTHERS....
Yeah, that's right, Wolf. Ben Linus flew in a bunch of "others" from the island to join the tourists.

After Wolf's imfamous "so poor and so black" comment there's nothing he could possibly say on the air that would surprise me.

2. It's great that people are trying to sing The Star Spangled Banner
outside the White House. But either they don't know the tune or they never learned to sing. That sounds awful.

When I was a child, we had music classes in school. We learned all the traditional American song. And we learned to sing The Star Spangled Banner so it sounded beautiful, musical, not just screaming and yelling.

Can't Americans sing anymore?

5. I got a degree in Music Education way back when. Music
instruction today is not given much importance. Too many parents and achools invest in computers but not in musical instruments. If only they knew how valuable a music education is in terms of a child's development of mathematical abilities and self-discipline. It is such a shame in my view.

8. Musical Training like ecucation in the visual arts
also stimulates creative thinking moreso than education in the hard sciences...mathematics and life sciences, etc....

I think all of the emphasis placed on technology in education is misplaced...In many cases, success in the arts may compensate for weaknesses in the sciences and vice versa....Both disciplines should be taught - I'm a great advocate for the arts and am dismayed that it is the first component of a school curriculum to face the budget guillotine...

Just finished reading I WAS A DANCER by the American artist, Kennedy Center Awards recipient Jacques D'Amboise..a great read about dance & education in America.

4. I think many of them had had a couple beers before they started
celebration often involves alcohol, and that sort of ruins the singing voice.

Besides, a good deal of people are really "tone deaf"...

We usually call those people "Republicans"
