This a video of mostly Christians firing on unarmed defenseless Muslims. This is what the govt does in your name in Iraq, so next time you are petitioning your govt, remember the Iraqi people suffering under the occupation of the US army. Only god knows how many times this has happened without a camera in sight to cover it.

Somewhat GRAPHIC VIDEO.

1. Gee, that appears to be awful. I wonder what the truth is.
Edited on Sat Apr-16-11 03:15 PM by Buzz Clik
It could exactly as it is being portrayed: soldiers firing live ammunition at detainees, tossing grenades, and killing them.

But:

1. We don't see any victims.
2. We have no idea what they are firing -- blanks, rubber bullets, or lethal bullets.
3. We have no idea what kind of grenades they are launching. Considering that control seems to be the objective, we have to assume that they are gas grenades.
4. When was this taken? Yesterday? Five years ago?
5. Where was it taken?

This looks bad, and it could be. But posting this with absolutely no context is irresponsible. And you'll excuse me if I don't depend upon YouTube as a source of reliable news.

2. I have tried to get more information on the video
But theres nothing as to where or when it was taken and to the context, I have seen enough video of US soldiers engaging in abusive behaviour. I am just going by the trend and right now I am more incline to side with the rightful occupants of Iraq instead of the occupiers. If you ask me, I say they should pack up and leave now to avoid anymore misunderstanding in the future.

3. The watermark says the video is from 2005, the grenades are smoke or teargas, not clear whether
these guys are firing live rounds or pellets like those used by police against demonstrators.

The officer was awfully casual when he said, "Come one guys, they're only throwing dirt and rocks", so we'll give'em the benefit of the doubt and assume they were firing pellets, not 7.62 rounds.
