7. Assange is one brave mother.

He is right in the face of some murderous and evil people...he's high on my list of heroes.
His best protection is a public face.

8. Whether it's Bradley Manning,

Jose Padilla, unknown prisoners at Gitmo (and God only knows what other hell holes), the 8th Amendment has now become discretionary. The only reason Assange isn't with Manning is because he is too public a figure now to just disappear into one of our political prisoner black holes.

Showing up our fascist government for what it is. This is the way prisoners are tortured to say what a fascist government wants to hear. They are not after the truth.
